It is indisputable
that Facebook is both a horizontal monopoly
as well as a financial power house,
undermining the mental health of its users
and selling their personal information
to earn approximately 144 billion every day.
Nor is the question whether or not,
in their thunderous greed,
they have they forgotten the needs
of the humans upon whom they depend
or the needs of the planet upon which they dwell.
No, the real question is
what will WE do about it?
Will we call our state and federal representatives so often
that we have their numbers on speed dial?
Will we sign and promote petitions
on the same social media that they pertain to?
Will we create and circulate pertinent memes
to promote the needs we have illustrated above?
Are we to run and hide,
or do something constructive about it?
Let us conclude
